What you will be doing
We are seeking an Accountant for our Countries accounting II Unit in Vilnius. Our unit is responsible for several branches of the bank and different subsidiaries. You will play a key role for SEB AB Luxembourg Branch accounting. You will work closely with multiple levels within Global Finance, which represents a great opportunity to gain experience in many aspects of a finance department in a rapidly growing digital organisation.
What you will be doing
We are seeking an Accountant for our Countries accounting II Unit in Vilnius. Our unit is responsible for several branches of the bank and different subsidiaries. You will play a key role for SEB AB Luxembourg Branch accounting. You will work closely with multiple levels within Global Finance, which represents a great opportunity to gain experience in many aspects of a finance department in a rapidly growing digital organisation.
As an Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Flawless execution of Records-to-Report transactional activities
- Month-end closing procedures and bookkeeping tasks
- Follow processing and reporting deadlines
- G/L accounts reconciliation
- Communication with other SEB group units and stakeholders
- Work together with the team on continuous process improvements
- Follow Internal Controls of Financial and Reporting framework
Who we are looking for:
- Plus 1 year of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, approachable and motivated with a strong work ethic and a high degree of integrity
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time and prioritize responsibilities
- Degree in Finance area is a plus
- Experience in working with IFRS and local standards is a plus
- Proactive and “can do” mindset
