Expected tasks:
- Ensure the smooth operation of civil protection activities and the organization's readiness to provide assistance during crises and emergencies.
- Prepare an operational strategy, activity-related documents, and preparedness and action plans.
- Initiate, prepare and coordinate project applications for funding; plan and seek new sources of funds for civil protection activities.
- Organize the search, selection, preparation and training of volunteers for special tasks.
- Plan and organize civil protection training, exercises and prepare their programs for employees and volunteers.
- Cooperate with local and foreign partners, sponsors and state institutions.
- Monitor and analyze performance results and statistical data, prepare reports, and provide recommendations.
- Contribute to the organization of campaigns and events.
You will fit in perfectly if:
- Has 1 year of work experience in a similar field (civil protection, crisis management or emergency prevention).
- Has experience in conducting training (an advantage).
- Is able to analyze and systematize information and is familiar with civil protection legislation.
- Has project management skills that will help you plan activities effectively.
- Has a higher education and a category B driver's license.
- Has volunteering experience (experience in volunteer coordination would be a great advantage).
- Has excellent communication, negotiation and project management skills.
- Knows at least one foreign language (German and/or English) at a level not lower than B2.
- Has excellent communication and cooperation and teamwork skills.
