You have an opportunity to become part of Danske Bank Global Service Lithuania (GSL), which delivers world-class financial solutions to customers.

We are looking for an experienced and performance-oriented Data Analyst with high integrity to our Global Compliance Monitoring (GCM) unit. You will be located in Vilnius and working as an integrated part of a team, which consists of 7 highly skilled compliance officers and data analysts based in Lithuania (5), Poland (1) and Denmark (1).

GCM team was established in 2016 as a strategic initiative for Group Compliance to ensure aligned and group wide compliance monitoring programmes based on a strong combination of qualitative and quantitative method.

As a member of the GCM team, the main goal of your work is to provide reliable and meaningful data to monitoring programmes. The Data Analyst defines, based on planned and agreed parameters and source data, appropriate samples and compiles data for further analysis.

Focus area:
  • You will work in close collaboration with the project managers of monitoring programmes in building up the monitoring programmes from data point of view, e.g. how the scope can be handled from data perspective and what conclusions can the planned monitoring produce
  • You will participate in collecting and processing data and will be responsible that the data delivered to monitoring programmes are accurate and results reliable so that they can be used as the basis of observations and recommendations in the monitoring reports

Area of Expertise

  • Higher degree (e.g. in IT, mathematics, statistics or economics) and no less than 2 years working experience with data analytics
  • Fluency in English (written and oral)
  • You’re good communicator, able to work in a team and independently when needed
  • You possess a creative, analytical and solution oriented mindset, you’re able to work in structured and fast-paced manner

Skills that would help you to deliver:
  • Statistic mathematics and scientific methods knowledge
  • Banking and / or Compliance knowledge
Experience with programming languages such as SQL, working with Tableau or similar
