We are looking for a Digital Communication Specialist to join the Digital Platforms team in Vilnius. Successful candidate will join a team responsible for managing and supporting COWI's digital communication/collaboration platforms, such as website, Intranet and Media Library, as well as contribute to building other global services for digital media.

EXTEND YOUR POTENTIAL IN A GLOBAL TEAM

You will be in close collaboration with colleagues both from your team in Vilnius and all parts of COWI organisation around the globe. You will primarily be acting as a responsible for COWI websites solution () as well as a hands-on person administrating web content, developing content for COWI's digital channels as well as have an opportunity to be part of developing new services for digital media to be delivered from Vilnius office in future.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Act as responsible for COWI websites to make sure COWI gets best value of our web solution – e.g. suggest new content layout formats, ensure content structure that works best on digital media, advice colleagues on visuals for the message, initiate and manage improvements of website functionality and follow digital media trends  
  • Upload and manage content on website and other digital platforms to ensure timely support and best performance of the message
  • Analyse performance of the website using Google Analytics and other tools, report and suggest improvements based on insights from the data
  • Advice colleagues and answer the questions about the website solution, develop guidelines and maintain the knowledge about platform
  • Identify and take action to mitigate potential risks related to existing functionality or development of it;
  • Follow trends and innovations within the area to provide suggestions for platform improvements and manage stakeholders inside COWI (e.g. IT department) or externally and ensure successful resolution of problems or implementation of solutions
  • Furthermore, you will contribute to producing content for our digital channels (e.g. writing news articles for Intranet or posts for our social media formats, arranging visual solutions) and setting up and managing campaigns (e.g. Google Ads, social media campaigns) in close collaboration with COWI communication specialists globally.

Furthermore, you should:

  • Hold an academic background, preferably in communication/marketing
  • Have 2+ years of experience working in digital communication area administrating and writing content, initiating improvements
  • Be experienced with CMS and have an eye for good visual structure of content (experience with Sitecore is an advantage)
  • Have analytical skills and provide insights for data-driven decisions, be experienced within Google Analytics, SEO
  • Have experience communicating to stakeholders at all organizational levels and strong coordination and communication skills to be able to manage deliveries from externals (e.g. IT vendors)
  • Feel comfortable doing some repetitive work, juggling several tasks at a time and mixing short-term daily hands-on tasks with long-term development projects
  • Be passionate about digital media trends, innovations and have an eye for user experience
  • Have some experience managing digital campaigns (e.g. Google Ads campaign management, Google AdWords or administration of campaigns in social media) or have strong motivation to develop yourself in this area
  • Be fluent in English, both orally and in written 
  • Experience from a global organisation is an advantage
