Job description

We're building and maintaining an eCommerce driven website of a global cybersecurity product using Gatsby and React. Our team aims to design and build a super-fast web experience and highly flexible, easy to use content management system. The team has full ownership of the performance, quality, and direction of the front-end side of the project and invests in our in-house tooling, such as custom UI components library, common utilities. We strive to ship solutions for everyday problems of our users so we work closely with backend developers, content managers, design and product people.

As a team member, you'll have to grow and cherish the library of user-friendly components, versatile layout systems, and complex features. Use these assets to implement business logic, create clear user flows, add integrations and collect data. If you breathe technologies, join us and expand our front-end forces!

What you will do
  • Strive for blazing-fast performance;
  • Create easy to use content management experience;
  • Integrate layers of multi-dimensional personalization, A/B experimentation, and analytics;
  • Solve multi-product, cross-sell & up-sell puzzles, add complex features and 3rd party integration.

What we expect
  • A good grasp of React usage patterns and it's ecosystem;
  • Proven experience in developing front-end web applications that perform well;
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, it's tooling, and patterns (i.e. SCSS, BEM, utility classes, etc.);
  • Hands-on experience with modern tooling: transpilers (Babel), bundlers (Webpack and/or Rollup), CI configurations;
  • First-hand experience of coding CSS-rich elements as-well-as complex pages;
  • Knowledge of covering apps with tests (E2E, Integration, Unit) or practiced TDD.
  • Understanding how to provide highly effective code reviews and peer support;
  • Experience building and/or integrating CMS (Headless CMS is an extra bonus);
  • Some knowledge of Static Site Generators (Gatsby would be nice);
  • Experience with internationalization and personalization (A/B testing experience is a plus).
