VLI Timber is one of the largest kiln-dried firewood producers in the Baltic States, exporting to almost 20 European markets. In 2025, the company's revenue reached 22.9 million euros.
The company is currently recruiting a Production Manager to join the company's 35 million euros investment project - the world's first fully automated kiln-dried firewood factory being built in the Jonava district, where it is planned to create about 150 jobs. The new production unit will more than double production capacity and strengthen the company's position in export markets.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to the implementation of strategic goals: business development, implementation of technological investments, growth of production efficiency and sustainability.
- Ensure the efficient work of the production unit, plan and organize the execution of production orders according to the schedule, quality and safety requirements.
- Initiate and implement measures to improve production efficiency: process digitization, automation.
- Cooperate with technical, logistics and commercial departments, resolving issues of customer order execution and production deadlines.
- Ensure the adaptation and application of the production management system: operational data entry, production report generation, material flow management.
- Analyze performance indicators (deadlines, productivity, defect rate), prepare reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with quality, occupational safety and order requirements in the unit.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in a production manager position (in metal, woodworking or other field).
- Experience in managing larger teams (50+ employees).
- Higher technical/engineering education.
- Ability to effectively organize team work and ensure continuity of process activities.
- Good English and Russian language skills.
- Understanding of quality control, occupational safety requirements, LEAN or other efficiency methods.
- Responsibility, result orientation, ability to act independently.
