Key responsibilities and tasks

  • Update HR information systems as appropriate
  • Facilitate and co-ordinate the new starter induction day
  • Administration of the employee lifecycle including new starters, leavers, contract amendments and probationary reviews and submit changes to payroll
  • Administer reward processes as appropriate
  • Pre-employment checking processes including references, criminal record bureau and credit reference checking
  • Ensure paper and electronic documentation is stored correctly and in line with legislative requirements (where applicable)
  • Produce accurate documentation on behalf of the department, using agreed templates where appropriate
  • Ensure systems within the department are accurately maintained
  • Ensure documents and procedures are up to date and stored in the agreed place
  • Produce reports and statistics for stakeholders upon request
  • Ensure the protection of data at all times
  • Prioritize tasks to ensure that service levels and customer expectations are met
  • Maintain high levels of customer service, escalating any complaints or concerns
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the services provided by the department
  • Assist with team with project support as required
  • Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
  • Identifies problems and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, asses each using standard procedures

  • Able to communicate effectively – verbal and written
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Fluent communication in English
  • 1+ years experience in HR Admin role
