Ensure that all transactions are processed with efficiency and quality according to predefined standards, company policies and procedures.

Ensure that all transactions are processed with efficiency and quality according to predefined standards, company policies and procedures.
- Participate in period-closing activities
- Process misc. transactions and ensure that all entries are recorded
- Perform verification and reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts
- Support asset accounting processes (calculate depreciation and be able to account for additions, disposals, misc.)
- Assist in preparation of legal compliance processes (including but not limited to VAT, corporate tax, internal and external audits, WTH, statistical reporting)
- Handle inquires and respond to queries in a timely manner
- Ensure that internal controls are maintained
- Collect data to internal/external authorities, partners, etc.
- Take an active part in role specific trainings
- Support teamwork, collaboration and consistency across all sites and functions
- Keep positive and efficient working relationships with internal and external customers
- Execute all other position related tasks delegated by Direct Manager
Requirements
- Basic accounting understanding
- Customer service mindset
- Fast learner
- Teamwork and co-operation skills in a cross-cultural organization
- Fluency in written and oral English. Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Finnish, Swedish language would be an advantage
- SAP and other accounting software and databases experience would be an advantage

The Vilnius GBS center offers services for Metso finance and logistics operations. The objective is to centralize the related services to the new center and thus gain benefits from process harmonization, standardization and digitalization.
Metso continues to develop the global supply operations of its Minerals Consumables business by establishing a rubber and poly-met wear parts manufacturing facility in Šiauliai. The new manufacturing location started its operations in the beginning of July, 2020.
Today, Metso is the leading provider of rubber and poly-met mill lining, with a strong service network in all the main mining markets.
