What you will be doing
Reporting to the Pricing Projects and Strategy Manager, you will be a key member of the team and bring your developing analytical and interpersonal skills to a variety of projects covering all aspects of pricing. The Junior Pricing Analyst role is a good mix of analytical work and first contact for internal customer facing discussions. You will develop to provide expertise in analytic tools, providing on-demand analysis, as well as driving strategic pricing projects.

- Serves as a key resource for interpreting data and information; communicates results to team members.
- Works with multiple departments to coordinate and delivery cross-functional project activities while ensuring deliverables are accurate and meet customer requirements.
- Utilizes analytical tools across all departments and functional areas providing detailed reporting and analysis.
- Assesses analytics and reporting needs; in time providing recommendations for enhanced solutions and specifications for analytical tools
- Maintains and develops strong working relationships with business owners as a process advocate.
- Summarizes insights in presentation materials and memo’s to support the implementation of the acquired knowledge.
- Engages in transformative pricing projects, which includes the development new or enhanced pricing tools for daily-use by internal customers.
What your background should look like
- Training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, or computer science generally obtained through completion of a three/four year Bachelor’s Degree program
- Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to effectively participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams, by balancing different user requirements and priorities
- Planning, analytical, and conceptual skills to evaluate business problems and identify and apply appropriate solutions
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL) and data management would be desirable
- Experience with Alteryx would be desirable
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Excel essential
- Proactive approach to everyday work
- Presentation skills
- Comfortable with handling a variety of tasks and stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong analytics and reporting knowledge would be desirable
