About the Role:
As a Corporate Secretary reporting to the C&T Global Head of OCM (Operations Control Management), you will support the offices of the Citco Global Corporate and Trust Division in defining, implementing and executing good corporate governance applying standards consistently across the Division. This role will suit engaged, legal-focused individuals who want to further their career (or realise their potential) in a challenging and rewarding work environment.

Job Duties in Brief:
  • Overall supervision of the designated offices in the Division, ensuring that all corporate governance queries and requests are processed and completed in a timely manner, efficiently and qualitatively;
  • Pick-up, assign or process (draft), review and provide feedback on corporate documents drafted and other requests processed by the offices in respect of their legal entity corporate governance;
  • Maintain and develop multiple business relations with offices and other functions within the Division/Group;
  • Continuously review and make recommendations for improvements to the existing processes and procedures around corporate governance;
  • Follow changes in law in certain jurisdictions which may impact service delivery and ensure that international and/or industry specific legal corporate govenrnance requirements are met;
  • Assist local Board of Directors in planning and organizing the board meetings timely and accurate delivery of services in accordance with agreed deadlines;
  • Schedule the board meetings, create packs for the meetings, attend the meetings (mostly by phone) and take minutes;
  • Share the minutes with relevant parties i.e. central repository, Group functions;
  • Eventually participates in office’s risk meetings and projects e.g. Operational Risk Committee;
  • Complete special or Group related projects as assigned.


About You:
  • University degree in law;
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in Legal field;
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment;
  • Good planning and time management/ project management skills;
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously;
  • Fluency in English is essential;
  • Able to deal with competing pressures;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Excellent MS Office skills;
  • Compliance and/or risk management experience would be an advantage.
