Job description

Ubiquiti Kaunas office is looking for a talented and self-driven C developer for airMAX team. We expect you to bring your experience, enthusiasm and creativity wherever you go and put them in the work you do. You should be able to think out of the box when finding solutions to brand new problems and make things work when the solution is not straightforward.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

work on latest wireless networking devices in cooperation with other engineers
come up with solutions for various engineering problems and explain your ideas to other team members
improve legacy code in terms of maintainability, CPU, memory

Must Have Knowledge and Experience:

3+ years embedded firmware development experience with C on Linux or Unix-like platform
experience working with embedded devices, build systems and toolchains
experience with all phases of the software development life-cycle
knowledge of Git version control system
experience with bash shell scripting and/or other languages like Python, Lua
effective written and verbal communication skills in English language

Experience that is a Major Plus

experience with wireless products
experience with radio-frequency engineering
experience with embedded Linux kernel development
experience with MIPS/ARM processors
experience working with cross-compilers
experience with OpenWrt / Buildroot
experience with C++
