Who you are

Meridia is now looking for an experienced Project Manager based in our Kaunas office, to delivery projects across Africa, Asia and Latin America. The role is full time and travel to above mentioned geographies can be expected.

Meridia works with key parties such as goverments, private sector, non-profits and other parties globally implementing both small and large efforts with a variety of stakeholders. Most work will be done will be based in our Kaunas office, however at times projects will require presence either with clients, partners or in our local offices.

As Project Manager, you will be taking the lead on projects, from when they are sold till they are fully delivered. You will be the face of the company, ensuring alignment with clients, managing issues and risks, budget and expenses –resulting in smooth delivery – all in a demanding global and multicultural environment.

You will be an integral part of our growing global service and support team which is anchored in Kaunas and Amsterdam and take a leading function in our local operations Kaunas.

Project Management key items
  • Design, plan, deliver and evaluate projects across multiple geographies
  • Balancing simultaneous projects in different phases
  • Ensuring local project team are well resourced and deliver smoothly
  • See to customers and partners are adequately involved
  • Lead client relationship from an execution perpective
  • Participate in recruitment of execution team where necessary
  • Be a “bridgebuilder” in an often complex mix of cultures and timezones

What you bring to the table

  • 4 years+ of experience in project management
  • Good budgeting skills
  • Experience working in a global environment
  • High performance planning and scheduling abilities
  • Clear Finanical and KPI reporting abilities
  • Experience with working with government and global institutions
  • Collaborative and solution oriented
  • Able to work across cultures with remote teams
  • Independent, self-motivating and able to deliver results
  • Conceptually strong and able to take an organsiational need and develop a solution
  • Excellent professional English
  • French and Spanish are a plus
  • Ability to travel 2-4 months per year, mainly in Europe, Africa and Asia
  • Able to self-motivate and structure work independently
