Recruitment specialist (German Or Swedish)


Job description

HR Services is looking for a Specialist Recruitment (m/f) for Europe & APAC. The Specialist Recruitment (m/f) will be responsible to actively manage, execute and oversee the initial phase of the recruiting process and support from the first request of the hiring manager until the position is filled. Further tasks are proactive sourcing and ongoing relationship management with candidates as well as executing the entire recruiting and employer branding strategy in order to find the best possible candidates and fill positions on time.

Main responsibilities
  • Execute proactive candidate identification and attraction strategies, facilitating the interview and hiring process, and provide staffing advice to hiring managers
  • Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive sourcing and ongoing relationship management incl. use of new media
  • Responsible for screening candidates, performing first stage interviews, shortlisting candidates for second interviews and coordinating all interviews with candidates and hiring managers, obtaining feedback and relaying to candidates in a timely manner
  • Maintaining talent pools, searching candidates for key positions and keeping frequent contact using different communication tools
  • Perform the company's social media presence on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and other websites, setting up and managing online marketing initiatives to promote company culture, job openings and career opportunities
  • Implement any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting
  • Help developing the global recruitment practice and collaborate with the international team by executing candidate attraction initiatives, improving the candidate experience, support and realize process improvements
  • Support the global employer branding practice by e.g. leveraging candidate-facing communications, social media and video to convey the corporate culture and employee experience and support in developing and projecting the employee value proposition
  • Creation of recruitment metrics / reports (ad-hoc and regular)
  • The most important stakeholders & interfaces are: HR Business Partner, Hiring Manager, respective union and/or work council (if applicable), recruiting agencies & external institutions/companies (Universities, schools etc.), internal & external candidates


  • Fluency in written and verbal English plus good knowledge of one key Segment language (Finnish/Swedish/German) is a must
  • Academic degree in Economics, Business Psychology, Human Resources Management
  • >2 years experience in HR, especially in administrative recruiting processes, preferably in an international organization
  • Significant (technical) administrative recruiting experience, ideally from within multiple recruiting environments with the ability to attract active and passive candidates
  • Passionate recruiter & skilled user of social media platforms and proven experience in sourcing candidates via such platforms
  • Understanding of global HR processes and services
  • Excellent MS-Office skills
  • High Level of service orientation
  • Self-driven, proactive team worker with hands on mentality
  • Proactive approach to finding solutions and driving process improvements
  • Intercultural and empathetic competencies
  • Excellent communication skills with the credibility to discuss technical skills and competencies and the ability to build strong relationships and positively influence talent
