In this role, you will
- Use Web Components, TypeScript, SCSS and Twig to create e-commerce solutions on the Spryker platform, adhering to Figma designs, ensuring they have a modern look and feel
- Collaborate closely with PHP back-end developers to ensure seamless application functionality
- Participate in agile meetings such as refinements, daily stand-ups, and reviews, asking questions where needed and offering constructive feedback to contribute to the team's progress
- Be capable of identifying and resolving bugs, as well as optimising performance issues
- Collaborate with an international, English-speaking team
What will you bring
- Good knowledge of modern JavaScript concepts: DOM manipulation, Events, Fetch API, Async/Await, ES modules
- Experience working with TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) and up-to-date CSS techniques
- Experience with templating engines (TWIG, Handlebars, Pug)
- Good understanding of HTML5 semantic markup
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices in front-end security
- Ability to use Chrome Developer Tools to identify performance issues
- Strong English communication skills and adaptability
We consider the following experiences as advantages
- Experience working with PHP
- Some knowledge of Node.js
- Hands-on experience with one or more modern front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React.js, Angular.js)
- Understanding of UI/UX tools (e.g., Figma)
- Knowledge of Docker commands, cloud services, CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with Webpack/Vite
