Relentless pursuit of better
You will operate within the Litigation department, which is part of the General Counsel Office. Every year, Western Union receives thousands of subpoenas and other compulsory requests (collectively, “subpoenas”) for transaction data and other information. Timely and accurate fulfillment of subpoenas is one of our many legal obligations. You’ll review all incoming requests and ensure they are compliant with our policies. You will search Western Union’s transaction records for responsive information. You will interact with law enforcement agencies, government entities and private requesters, and maintain effective working relationships.

In this position, your daily language will be English, though preferably we would like you to be fluent in French, German, Italian, or Spanish language as well. You will use your strong interpersonal skills to communicate across management levels within Western Union. You are positive and very organized and can work under pressure to meet deadlines. You are comfortable with ambiguity and frequent changes and have good time management skills. You demonstrate general cognitive ability to solve problems, intellectual curiosity, and humility. You are engaged in daily work and ownership of your work product. A high degree of professionalism and discretion when working with confidential and sensitive matters is required. In addition, you are able to work a 12:00 - 20:30 o'clock shift during the workweek (weekends are free).

Annual base salary gross: 12 566 – 21 543 EUR

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
