What you will be doing

We are looking for an awesome Team Manager for our fantastic BIS team. The BIS team is part of the Payments & Reporting area and the Payments 1 department. The team consist of 12 people in Vilnius and Stockholm including scrum master, tech lead, solution developers, testers, and a support team. As the team is located both in Vilnius and Stockholm you will need to travel to Stockholm on occasion.

BIS is a very important Message broker-system for ISO-20022 files containing payment instructions sent from roughly 5000 corporate-customers to SEB. BIS performs conversion, authorization controls and syntax validation for incoming payment files. BIS also transports internal files between different SEB systems using inhouse-formats.

In this role it is important that you have good technical understanding and excellent people management skills. We have a fantastic team; they deserve an awesome manager.

As a Team Manager you will be responsible for:

  • As Delivery responsible for BIS you have the responsibility to ensure the availability & quality of the service and that necessary life cycle activities are performed.
  • You are responsible for developing and maintaining a high performing team. You do that through building confidence, empower and support the team members to contribute to meet and exceed customer needs.
  • You will drive change initiatives and promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement to ensure efficient ways of working, high quality solutions and managed risks.
  • You will take part in Program Increment (PI) planning and according to these plans; you are responsible for capacity and delivery planning for the team, ensuring that the right competencies and skills are in place.
  • You will take an active part in our management team and together drive needed improvements in our area.

Who we are looking for:

  • A committed leader with at least 3 years of experience as a line manager with high ability to attract and develop the right people and building engaged and high performing teams.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience managing IT development or IT infrastructure in a complex, fast changing and demanding environment, and understands what is needed for a team in order to maintain & develop modern software solutions.
  • You have experience of handling stakeholders at various levels and good communication skills.
  • You have experience of vendor management and working with COTS systems
  • Experience working with payments is a plus.

Monthly salary range for this position:EUR (before tax deduction). The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
