In the position, you will be responsible for:

  • knowing and understanding all service availability, use, benefits and pricing structure;
  • utilizing corporate resources and initiating the sales process, building new accounts and nurturing existing relationships;
  • consulting with customers and providing technical expertise and recommendations based on the required engineering services;
  • meeting and exceeding sales targets for new/existing business;
  • promoting Detra Solar’s products and services by attending exhibitions and prospecting new/existing customers;
  • preparing and delivering quotations to customers while providing technical expertise to turn the quote into a sale;
  • providing input in contractual agreements for services;
  • maintaining complete knowledge of and complying with company and departmental policies, procedures and standards;
  • maintaining client and company confidence by keeping information confidential and secure;
  • maintaining a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment.

You are a fit for this position if you:

  • have a proven experience in Technical sales manager/sales engineer position;
  • successfully completed a University degree or (technical, engineering, energy field or equivalent experience);
  • have A track record demonstrating outstanding delivery against targets;
  • can demonstrate tactical and commercial awareness of the sales function, direct sales channels, and business process knowledge;
  • have a high degree of professionalism, service-orientation, and attention to detail;
  • are able to connect and gain trust with customers quickly;
  • have compelling communication style in English (B2/C1);
  • have experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) and/or data driven software.
