Job description
As a Test Automation Engineer you will be responsible for the design, development and execution of automated testing. Investigating problems in software identified in testing and working with QA and software developers to find solutions. In the short term there will be the requirement to assist in manual testing while automated testing is fully implemented.
Main responsibilities:
Responsible for the Implementation of automated testing
Responsible for the design, development, and execution of automated tests.
Maintenance of automated test schedules.
Become the company expert in automated testing.
Help others develop appropriate knowledge and skills through training and constructive feedback.
Recommend and implement improvements to automated testing strategies,
Assist in Manually testing new features and fixes for reported issues.
Create manual test plans and test cases.
Perform manual testing, documenting test results.
Communicate with software developers to resolve issues
Other duties currently performed by QA
Maintenance of the company’s on- line help resource (Confluence)

Requirements
Experience:
1-10 years in a Test automation role
Excellent troubleshooting skills. Strong analytical, problem solving, prioritization and decision making skills
Fluent communication in English, both written and oral.
Education:
Computer Science degree or similar
Knowledge Of:
JavaScript / Typescript / C# / .NET
Test automation using Playwright/Selenium or other testing frameworks/libraries
Microsoft O365 and SharePoint (an advantage)
1-10 years in a Test automation role
