The role

As team player you will participate in Agile development processes: sprint planning, task refinement, SDLC, retrospectives, knowledge share in team and communities. The focus of the role will be for ensuring the delivery of high-quality products roadmaps and services through the application of professional testing techniques, knowledge, and best practices. Also participating in preparation for migrating the existing products into Azure cloud.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for testing and has or willing to gain experience in test automation.

At TransUnion we have a wide range of technology in play such as Microsoft .Net, Microsoft SQL server, some older technologies that we are refactoring out – constantly improving products for the move to Azure cloud. Additionally, we are using these testing tools: Behat, Selenium, SpecFlow, Postman, JMeter.

What do we expect from you

Mandatory requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in software testing area
  • Effective test design, test planning and scheduling capability
  • API/Web service or relational database testing experience
  • Experience in performance testing
  • Knowledge of source control
  • Communication in English, at least equivalent to B1
  • Coaching and mentoring skills

Nice to have requirements:
  • Knowledge of test automation techniques and tools
  • CI/CD pipelines basic understanding
  • Microsoft .NET technologies, Microsoft SQL server
  • Experience with IDE (VisualStudio, PhpStorm)
  • Testing in Azure cloud
  • Experience in security testing
  • Experience in Agile development team
  • Skills of taking initiative for improvements, identifying and mitigating risks, problem solving
