Our Client -
international company in finance market is looking for a Vendor Management Specialist to join the Global Procurement and strategic sourcing team, within Corporate Operations to support the Supplier Diversity and Sustainability Programs. Join this team!
Job description:
- Assist with the development and implementation of Supplier Sustainability strategy, program, and key deliverables;
- Work with vendors to collect data supporting supplier diversity and sustainability efforts and engage them on improving their own sustainability efforts;
- Maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external organizations;
- Assist with strategic sourcing activities including supplier risk and vendor management, as needed;
- Support other Finance projects and initiatives including Risk, as necessary.
Requirements:
- Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline;
- Experience Required: at least 1-3 years from a similar role, ideally vendor management;
- Special Qualifications: proficient expertise in the use of financial systems and Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a must;
- Customer-oriented approach;
- Problem-solving skills;
- Planning and coordination skills;
- Excellent communication in English (oral and written);
- Well-organized and reliable.
