The Public Institution Trakai Tourism and Business Information Centre began its activities in 2000. For 25 years, the institution performed the functions of a tourism information centre, while it also became a business information centre at the end of 2024, so the institution started its activities in this area recently, but actively.

What do we do?
ROLE AND FUNCTIONS OF THE CENTER
- coordinating centre – development of tourism services, market analysis, proposals for improving services and infrastructure;
- information source – provides the most relevant information to passengers, businesses, returning to live in the Trakai district, planning to create a business or invest;
- service provider – consultations, training, mediation;
- partnership platform – organizer and coordinator of discussions, meetings, cooperation of individuals and legal entities carrying out or planning similar activities.
What work awaits?
- Preparation of activity plans for promoting entrepreneurship in the Trakai district;
- Creation of a basic start-up package for entrepreneurship;
- Monitoring of entrepreneurship promotion measures implemented by the Center (activity reports, analyses, surveys);
- Provision of business information and consultations to small and medium-sized business entities on business management and development, internal management of the company (company establishment, business planning, management, marketing, employee management, labor law, business administration, document management, quality management, project management, human resources, use of information technologies, export opportunities, cooperation networks, etc.);
- Cooperation with Lithuanian and foreign organizations providing support, other partners abroad;
- Organization of training (for individuals who intend to start their own business and for small and medium-sized business entities), seminars, information dissemination events on topics relevant to business;
- Maintenance and development of relations with companies, business entities;
- Administration of the website and social networks, dissemination of information relevant to business in the Trakai district;
- Representation of the Trakai region at international exhibitions, business missions, etc.;
- Preparation of presentations in Lithuanian and English;
- Analysis of the Lithuanian business market and direct cooperation with business entities in the district, etc.

Employee requirements
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. A Business Information Manager must meet the following special requirements:
1.1. have at least a higher education in business management;
1.2. be familiar with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania regulating business administration, the activities of the European Union and other funding and support funds, the submission and administration of project applications, the processes of establishment, reorganization and liquidation of legal entities and other economic entities, and other legal acts related to this position;
1.3. have at least 1 year of work experience in the field of business management;
1.4. be able to work in a team and independently, be able to manage, accumulate, systematize and summarize information, prepare presentations in Lithuanian and English;
1.5. have excellent command of the state language of Lithuanian and English at a level not lower than B2.

Formation of the image of Trakai District Municipality as a tourist destination - development of tourism information and marketing services, disseminating information about tourist resources on a national and international scale, research of tourism markets, in order to increase tourist flows in Trakai District Municipality. To collect, accumulate and provide free of charge information about tourism services to tourists and guests of Trakai District Municipality.
2. Creation of the economic attractiveness of Trakai District Municipality - provision of business training and consulting services, promotion of new business creation, assistance to already operating business entities in developing their business, adaptation to changing market conditions, increasing the competitiveness and efficiency of their activities. Project planning, preparation and implementation.
