We are seeking an efficient Payroll Administrator & Accounting Support to manage payroll processes and assist with accounting tasks related to Lithuanian and International payroll.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in financial administration, accounting, payroll, or related activities.
  • Solid understanding of accounting and payroll principles.
  • Working knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, and any other software relevant to payroll administration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (preferably at a B2 level).
  • Knowledge of the spoken Russian language is and advantage.
  • Excellent numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of maritime-related matters is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining composure.
  • Competent communication skills, understanding the needs of others, and efficiently addressing queries.
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles.
Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing past records and making wage corrections or adjustments when payroll errors occur.
  • Assisting in the administrative registration of foreign payrolls.
  • Managing electronic timekeeping systems or manually collecting and reviewing timesheets.
  • Monitoring and calculating day-to-day financial operations within the Seafarers (payroll, travel expenses, and other transactions).
  • Calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions.
  • Maintaining employee records.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure accurate employee data.
  • Providing information and responding to employee questions about payroll-related matters.
  • Managing a payroll-related information database.
  • Coordinating, processing, and monitoring various payroll-related records, schedules, and documents, ensuring their timely and accurate completion.
  • Responding, tracking, reporting, and completing tasks assigned by higher management within specified time frames (payroll and accounting tasks).
  • Assisting in Lithuanian payroll calculation and handling Lithuanian payroll matters.
