Head of the Environmental Protection Group

2000-2500 €/mon. Net

Your main job responsibilities will be:

  • Organize the work of the Environmental Protection Group;
  • Organize environmental protection activities in VMG group companies in Lithuania;
  • Control the implementation of normative legal acts regulating environmental protection;
  • Prepare and coordinate with the responsible authorities the environmental permits of VMG group companies in Lithuania;
  • Prepare the greenhouse gas monitoring plan and report, participate in the greenhouse gas emissions audit;
  • Ensure implementation and compliance with ISO 14 001 requirements.

To succeed in this position you will need:

  • Higher university education (field of study in ecology, environmental studies, environmental engineering);
  • 3 years of similar work experience;
  • Knowledge of LR and EU legal acts regulating environmental protection and ability to follow them and apply them to the fulfillment of environmental management tasks;
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of clerical rules;
  • Ability to organize activities and manage changes, work in a team, mobilize the team and coordinate joint work;
  • Strategic and critical thinking.

We will consider it an advantage if you have:
  • Good English and/or Russian language skills.

Salary

2000-2500 €/mon. net
The specific salary will be discussed during the interview and will depend on the candidate's competencies and experience.
