HEAD OF DEPARTMENT (FIXED CONTRACT)

Contribute to the creation of a green and secure energy ecosystem:

• By organizing and coordinating the activities of the department, ensuring the safe and economical management of the assigned technological facilities and laboratory equipment of the Power Plant and the chemical regime of water and smoke cleaning;
• Organizing the preparation of the budget of the department, carrying out its control, organizing public procurements, in order to ensure the supply of the department with tools, reagents, and laboratory equipment necessary for work;
• Being responsible for the compliance, organization and control of environmental protection requirements at the power plant, organizing the preparation of environmental documents (IPK and EIA) and reports, coordinating them with relevant institutions, participating in inspections;
• Ensuring the preparation and review of monitoring programs for air, wastewater, surface and underground water parameters, ensuring their smooth execution;
• Ensuring biofuel, waste sampling and analysis processes, analyzing the obtained results, providing conclusions;
• By organizing the preparation, completion, correction of technical and operational (standard operational procedures, processes) documents of laboratory equipment, technological devices supervised by the department;
• Managing the process of accreditation of the Fuel Laboratory according to the ISO 17025 standard;
• Ensuring that the subordinate personnel comply with the requirements of labor safety and production discipline, fire safety, equipment operation, the Republic of Lithuania and other internal legal acts.

• Higher education in the field of physical, technological or engineering sciences;
• 2 years of management experience;
• 2 years of professional experience working in environmental and/or laboratory fields;
• Knowledge of legal acts regulating environmental protection, fuel and environmental pollution sources, and water quality research;
• English language skills.

The fixed salary range for the position group is between EUR 3,812 and EUR 5,718 (excluding tax). The specific salary is offered taking into account work experience and competence. A variable part of the remuneration may be paid in addition to the salary.
