What you will be doing
- Lead CBS Accounting team based in Vilnius (Lithuania). This includes General ledger, Account receivables, Account payables, Billing and Consolidation teams in the CBS center (initially 18 people, growing to 35 people after CBS transition will be completed) through a period of transformation. Team in Vilnius will support entire Pharmalex organization through 4 regions (NorthAmerica, Central/Eastern and South Europe, North/West Europe and UK/Ireland, Asia Pacific)
- Responsible to support Plx Controller in all activities related to month end closure and to collaborate with Regional Controllers on efficient and timely closure of the regional books.The person should be able to act as deputy of the Pharmalex controller when needed.
- Responsible to maintain the accounting and Statutory compliance of HoldCos liasing with shared services resources and external CPAs
- Responsible to maintain compliance under US GAAP of Lease Calc leasing with Cencora corporate accounting
- Responsible to maintain management & group recharges
- Support Corporate controller and Consolidation Senior Manager in TP projects / Tax/ Treasury projects
- Responsible to improve processes and procedures within Pharmalex CBS team and accounting resources in the regions.
What your background should look like
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting and Administration
- At least 8 years of experience of which at least 4 as a team leader leading a large geographically disparate team (10 people or more)
- At least 2 years of experience in a Big 4 or in the accounting department of a multinational company
- Previous experience in the consolidation team of a multinational company with a large number of subsidiaries is preferred
- Very good knowledge of technical accounting (US GAAP, IFRS and any other local GAAP)
- Very good knowledge of excel
- Previous Lucanet experience is a strong plus
- Strong communication and leadership skills is a must – building relationships across a globally matrixed organisation
- Motivated, Self driven and willing to be involved at both strategic and tactical levels to grow and develop best practice
- Fluent English speaker (fluent in German is a plus)
- Able to perform under pressure and in a dynamic environment
