Being a 'Cavalier' barista:
- You communicate with the people who came, answer questions, help them decide what to choose, listen
- You usually prepare several drinks at the same time, if it didn't work the first time - redo it. You can place your orders for takeout or bring them to the table. You take care of every order in detail, because it is your business card.
- Feel the 'pulse' of the place, that is, constantly observe the environment at which table the person is sitting; do you need to pick up the dishes from the empty tables, or maybe offer the puppy a bowl of water?
- You carry a towel instead of a phone. Each table has its own history, which does not need to be shown to others, so clean it up.
- You help the dishwasher wash the dishes
- You share work with your colleagues, you share work and non-work stories, you have inside team jokes, you support each other.
