Nature of work
The Skybar bartender position requires not only excellent cocktail making skills, but also exceptional attention to bar patron service. The main tasks of a bartender include:
- Serving drinks and making cocktails: A bartender should know the recipes of different types of drinks, be able to combine flavors and present drinks in such a way that they not only look delicious, but also meet the needs of the guests.
- Communication with guests: The bartender must be friendly, communicative and attentive to the needs of guests. It is important to be able to start a conversation, maintain a pleasant tone of communication, advise visitors on the choice of drinks and answer their questions about the menu.
- Work at the cash register: The bartender is responsible for financial transactions, including payments for drinks and other services. He should be able to operate a cash register, handle cash payments and contactless payments.
- Maintenance of hygiene standards in the bar: Bartender's responsibilities include not only serving guests and making cocktails, but also maintaining the cleanliness and order of the bar area. This means regular care and maintenance of the workplace, tools and equipment.
- Preparatory work: Active participation in the preparation of ingredients necessary for the production of high-quality cocktails, including various juices, syrups, fruits, etc.
- Opening hours: The bar is open every day of the week in the evenings from 18:00.
Employee requirements
- Professional experience: Have at least 1 year of experience as a bartender or similar position.
- Skills in beverage production: Ability to prepare various cocktails and other drinks according to established standards and recipes.
- Communication skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with guests from different cultures.
- English language skills: Good English language skills, ability to communicate freely with foreign guests.
- Initiative and creativity: The ability to offer new drink options and creatively solve problems is valued.
- Organizational skills: Ability to manage inventory, prepare necessary ingredients and effectively plan your workload, optimize tasks.
- Teamwork Skills: Ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Working hours: able to work evenings and weekends.
