Accountant

WHAT WILL YOUR JOB BE:

  • Processing, systematization, integration into the accounting program and control of the primary accounting documents of the holding company and subsidiaries;
  • Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, checking of summary accounting documents;
  • Wage accounting and calculation of other related benefits (in one of the subsidiary companies - total working time accounting), preparation of certificates related to employees' wages,
  • Calculation of taxes related to wages, declaration to relevant authorities;
  • Payment of taxes approved by the resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania to the state budget, and reporting to the controlling institutions: the Board of the State Social Insurance Fund, the State Tax Inspectorate, the Lithuanian Statistics Department;
  • Working with the Debit accounting program.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • More than 3 years of work experience as an accountant (advantage – in a group of companies), including full preparation of annual financial statements;
  • Knowledge of legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania, which regulate the company's accounting, taxes and wages;
  • Excellent computer skills (especially MS Excel);
  • Knowledge of business accounting standards;
  • Ability to independently plan work, organize one's working time and promptness;
  • Good clerical skills, diligence, responsibility and attentiveness;
  • Initiative, drive, desire to improve.
