Chief Accountant

Stafferty's client - an international pharmaceutical company located all over the world - invites a Chief Accountant to join its great team.

Darbo pobūdis:

  • Assures that accounting records are prepared and maintained in accordance with the company’s accounting policies, chart of accounts and related accounting principles and practices as well as according to local legislation;
  • Assures financial accounting is organized in an effective, up to date and accurate manner, operations are booked appropriately in ERP system;
  • Coordinates and closely cooperations with relevant team of Global Business Services team, based in Europe;
  • Performs accruals based accounting of day-to-day operations of sales, expenses and assets, assures required allocations are done following management accounting guidances;
  • Organizes month-end and year-end closing processes in a standardized way applying internal control procedures and best practices;
  • Coordinates local payroll calculation process with the external service company and is in charge of all employment related tax reports;
  • Manages the internal and external audit process ensuring all requirements are fulfilled in line with company policies and local tax and statutory requirements;
  • In charge of local treasury management (maintain contacts in bank, perform banking operations, ensure all sets of records are true, consistent, and up-to-date);
  • Manages local personnel administration (e.g., job agreements, amendments, orders).

Reikalavimai:

  • University degree in Finance and/or Economics;
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a position of Accountant / Head of Accounting;
  • Experience of pharmaceutical in a multinational company financial environment would be an advantage;
  • SAP experience – would be an advantage;
  • Practical knowledge and experience in local taxes (VAT, CIT etc.);
  • High ethical standards and strict compliance to internal and external regulations is essential;
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills (local language), English - fluent;
  • Planning, organizing & prioritization, ooperation and communication;
  • Work according to deadlines.
