We are looking for a hands-on Security Engineer to work on a number of security projects, starting from vulnerability management lifecycle improvements at the organization and building towards a wide range of security capabilities including enterprise detection and response (EDR), identity and access management (IAM), data protection solutions and event logging systems (SIEM).
We are looking for a hands-on Security Engineer to work on a number of security projects, starting from vulnerability management lifecycle improvements at the organization and building towards a wide range of security capabilities including enterprise detection and response (EDR), identity and access management (IAM), data protection solutions and event logging systems (SIEM).
Your day-to-day:
- Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading various security systems and controls.
- Managing technical documentation of the vulnerability management program, including requirements, architecture designs, network topology, and applications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to conduct comprehensive security assessments, ensuring vulnerabilities are promptly identified and resolved.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting issues on our systems. Setting up monitoring to detect and alert issues before they become an incident.
Your skills & experience:
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Nmap, etc.).
- Good knowledge of IT networks and protocols, Operating Systems, web and application server architectures.
- Practical experience creating systems and implementing security controls.
- Good knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, C/C++, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and organized, with the capacity to prioritize a busy workload.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
NICE TO HAVE:
- It would be excellent if you have technical certifications (e.g., GSE, CISSP, CASP+).
- Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of security, controls, risk, and compliance standards and frameworks, such as ISO27001, CIS, CSA, NIST, OWASP, etc.
Salary:
- Gross salary: 3470 - 5290 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and experience.
