Company UAB "IREMAS" is looking for a talented Occupational Safety Manager to join our team! If you are enthusiastic, responsible and want to contribute to ensuring employee safety and environmental protection, then maybe you are what we are looking for!
📌 Responsibilities include:
- Development and implementation of an integrated occupational safety and environmental protection policy, taking into account the specifics of production.
- Risk assessment and implementation of measures to reduce identified risks both in the areas of worker safety and environmental protection.
- Ensure that the company complies with all applicable occupational safety and environmental standards and legislation.
- Organize employee training on safety and environmental standards, preventive measures and encourage participation in programs in these areas.
- Planning and directing actions in emergency situations, including environmental emergencies or accidents.
- Control of production processes and work environment, assessing potential risks.
- Proposing and implementing technical measures aimed at reducing risks and improving employee safety.
- Monitoring and analysis of incidents related to occupational safety in order to identify possible deficiencies and implement preventive measures.
- Constant communication with management, employees and other related stakeholders.
- Management of the activities of the OSH department - implementation of the strategy and daily tasks, ensuring the efficient work of the department.
🔍 Requirements:
- Higher education in safety or environmental fields.
- Experience working in a safety manager or similar role.
- Good organizational, analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively plan, lead and make decisions in emergency situations.
- Excellent technical skills and understanding of manufacturing and work processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Lithuanian and English (other languages are an advantage).
