What Will You Do
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of data solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions;
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers, offering technical expertise and best practices;
- Develop and maintain complex SQL databases, data warehouses, and LookML projects;
- Visualize data effectively in Looker dashboards for stakeholders;
- Oversee data ingestion processes to ensure data is loaded accurately and on time;
- Proactively identify areas for improvement within the data ecosystem and implement solutions.
What We Expect
- 5 + years of hands-on experience in a data engineering role, with a focus on architectural design and data solutions;
- Proficiency in testing, maintaining, and validating data to ensure data integrity and reliability;
- In-depth knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS) with expertise in MySQL/MariaDB and data warehousing solutions like Google BigQuery;
- Familiarity with various ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and their application in data integration processes;
- Experience with data engineering platform Apache AirflowProficient in utilizing 3rd party data sources and integrating them into the existing data ecosystem;
- Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analysis;
- Proven experience in creating and managing data pipelines and workflows;
- Proactive and self-driven with a willingness to take initiative and lead data projects.
