About the role:
We are a DevOps team responsible for a wide range of data deliveries for reporting and analytical purposes, often driven by legal and regulatory requirements. We are modernizing our platform by transitioning our on-premises functionality to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and you will play a crucial role in this migration by leading software development efforts. Your primary focus will be on building ETL processes and data flows using GCP native tools such as Dataform and BigQuery.
In this position You will regularly communicate and collaborate with colleagues and key stakeholders, provide technical vision and guidance, mentor team members, and enhance their performance. Additionally, you will contribute to and implement the technical roadmap for data availability within and outside the Savings & Investments area, working closely with architects, product owners, and developers, while mentoring less experienced colleagues.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
- Experience from a cloud or containerized stack with virtual infrastructure, preferably GCP
- Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL
- Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using technologies such as Dataform, Google BigQuery, Docker, Pub/Sub, and Airflow
- Experience with modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control using GitLab and infrastructure as code using Terraform
- A deep understanding of data modelling concepts, ETL processes and how to build a good data infrastructure with a modern setup
- Solid verbal and written English skills
- A team player personality with skills in collaboration and leadership, used to collaborating in a multicultural environment

Monthly salary range for this position: 4200 - 6200 EUR before tax deduction. The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. The overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
