Main duties:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fleet maintenance program to ensure all vehicles are regularly serviced and maintained according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs for the fleet, including preventive maintenance tasks.
- Manage a team of mechanics and technicians, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including service history, parts inventory, and costs.
- Monitor fleet performance metrics such as uptime, downtime, fuel efficiency, and maintenance costs, and implement strategies for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices in fleet maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments such as operations, procurement, and finance to optimize fleet operations and control costs.
- Evaluate and recommend fleet replacement or upgrade decisions based on lifecycle analysis and cost-benefit considerations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes related to fleet maintenance and management.
We expect you have:
- At least 1 year of proven experience in fleet maintenance management or a similar role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques for a variety of vehicles (e.g., trucks, vans, cars).
- Experience with fleet management software, maintenance tracking systems, and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, or related field (preferred).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make data-driven decisions.
Employment conditions:
