Our Cross-Border Bridge Division is looking to hire a Geotechnical engineer with or minimal experience and qualifications in geotechnical engineering who is eager to work with Swedish projects.
About the Role:
As a Geotechnical engineer, you'll be involved in the development of municipal infrastructure, wind farms, power grids, railroads, roads, water, and sewage projects. Your work will encompass field investigations, data collection, interpretation, and the creation of Ground Investigation Reports (GIR). Drawings are essential at various stages of these projects.
If you are beginner level - 80% of your project work will be AutoCAD or Civil3D tasks dominate. This doesn’t require deeper geotechnical skills, although some are preferable.
More experience level - involves creating a Ground Investigation Report (GIR), demanding a deeper geotechnical understanding, including field data interpretation and occasional 3D modeling. Subsequently, the focus shifts to advanced calculations, utilizing software such as Plaxis, requiring substantial geotechnical expertise and experience in data interpretation.

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of drawings and technical documentation;
- Execution of engineering calculations;
- Active participation in project meetings and technical discussions;
- Working together with team members in Lithuania and Sweden.
Requirements:
- A degree in civil engineering or currently in the final year of study;
- Previous experience in geotechnical engineering design is beneficial;
- Proficient verbal and written English communication skills;
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, independence, and a drive for professional development and growth.
Requirements for software:
- Good AutoCAD skills
- Plaxis
- Civil 3D
- ArcGIS Online with Fieldmaps
- Geostudio – Slope/W software
- Geosuite (Geosuite is a Swedish software that is easy to learn.)
