ABOUT THE POSITION:
As a Head of R&D, you will oversee the R&D team, support the development of new products, improve existing ones, and closely collaborate with the Quality and Manufacturing departments for seamless integration of processes and product excellence. GET READY TO:
- Establish a department from the ground up, develop necessary processes, conduct research, strategize, and execute new programs and protocols;
- Define project goals and prioritize them through collaboration with Product Development, Quality, and Manufacturing departments;
- Continuously improve the technological processes and products;
- Operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels;
- Oversee the development and adaptation of products to in-house printing using the most appropriate technology;
- Use optimal methodologies for planning task fulfillment and ensuring timely deadlines are met;
- Provide leadership with direct reporting responsibilities and maintain alignment with the co-founders.
WE EXPECT YOU TO:
- Showcase a successful track record and expertise, with a minimum of 3 years of experience, in managing the R&D or a similar department, while having a keen understanding of making efficient decisions for performance and ensuring superior quality. We are looking for an experienced professional who can quickly adapt to the new trends and ensure adequate technologies to support them;
- Be familiar with Six Sigma and Theory of Constraints (TOC). You have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to conduct thorough root cause analysis and effectively troubleshoot issues that arise;
- Effectively define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department;
- Have great communication skills and the ability to work well with others, making it easy to share complex information and collaborate effectively with teammates and stakeholders;
- Have the ability to adapt quickly to dynamic environments and evolving processes, demonstrating resilience and a flexible mindset.
