Your mission

As an internal auditor, you will assist in designing and implementing internal audit processes and conduct audits to ensure adherence to applicable regulations, corporate standards, and global internal audit standards.

Here’s what you’ll be doing as Internal Auditor

  • Conduct internal audit engagements, including planning, preparation, execution, and reporting, focusing on risk management and operational effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and improve internal controls' efficiency and compliance, identifying enhancement opportunities.
  • Engage proactively with various organisational stakeholders to gather insights, fostering a collaborative environment that supports effective problem-solving during all audit phases.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of audit processes, findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions to maintain a clear and comprehensive audit trail.
  • Work closely with management to monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and assess the effectiveness of remedial actions.


You’ll report to our Head of Internal Audit.

Here’s what we’d love from you:

  • At least 2 years of experience in internal audit, preferably in the financial sector (EMI, Bank, or another financial institution).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Audit, Finance/ Economics, or Law is preferred.
  • A professional qualification in internal auditing (e.g. certificate from IIA Lithuania or CIA) is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of internal controls and risk management principles, capable of analysing and summarising information to identify potential risks and their implications.
  • Ability to draft clear conclusions and suggest practical improvements for various business processes, aligning with organisational regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and levels of the organisation.
  • Proficient in English and Lithuanian (both written and verbal).
