The NKT Accounting and Financial Control Center in Kaunas is growing and looking for 2 motivated, ambitious and goal-oriented junior accounting specialists to join our AP team. By joining the NKT headquarters in Kaunas, where ~120 colleagues work in various financial functions, you will open yourself to unlimited future career opportunities in the field of international finance.
What you can expect from this position
This position requires attention to detail, accounting knowledge and the ability to work independently and be part of a team. You will process and book incoming invoices, handle inquiries from stakeholders and suppliers, and participate in the closing procedures for the payables period. You can also expect to receive inquiries and provide accurate reporting to internal clients and outsourcing partners or institutions. Other tasks will be:
- Participation in assigned projects to support business needs and priorities;
- Collaboration with teams across the organization;
- Creating and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external customers;
- Assistance to other team members;
- Carrying out other tasks related to the position, delegated by the direct manager.
What we expect from the candidate
- Ability to communicate (oral and written) in English;
- Education in accounting, finance, economics or a related field;
- Willingness to learn and improve.
