Our organization - the Lithuanian Red Cross - is looking for an ambitious and insightful Youth Program Manager to lead the program for young people aged 14 to 29 years. This position provides a unique opportunity to implement and refine the program, taking into account youth expectations and international practices.

Our organization - the Lithuanian Red Cross - is looking for an ambitious and insightful Youth Program Manager to lead the program for young people aged 14 to 29 years. This position provides a unique opportunity to implement and refine the program, taking into account youth expectations and international practices.
Your mission:
- Creatively develop and implement strategies so that young people actively participate in voluntary and public activities both locally and internationally.
- Innovatively develop and deliver a range of Red Cross Youth activities, including informal, preventative activities, and ensure the highest quality standards are maintained.
- To actively participate in motivating and empowering young people to choose activities that are close to them - this includes training, events and creative workshops.
- Organize and conduct meaningful informal and preventive activities.
- Do not stop looking for innovative ways to help young people acquire new knowledge and skills to become responsible and civil members of society.
- Represent our organization and communicate with state and non-state institutions both in Lithuania and abroad.
- Initiate and implement various projects, contributing to ensuring the financial stability of the program, searching for partners and other funding opportunities.
- Develop the LRC Ambassadorship program, ensuring smooth and effective cooperation with Lithuanian general education institutions.
We need you as a colleague if you:
- You sincerely want to contribute to the implementation of the Red Cross mission in Lithuania.
- You have excellent project management skills and experience.
- You are able to work both in a team and independently, being able to effectively plan and organize your work.
- You are able to analyze information, prepare guidelines and instructions, in which direction young people could and should move;
- You have excellent communication skills and know how to build and maintain partnerships.
- You are proactive, able to take responsibility and know how to work in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English, knowledge of other foreign languages is considered an advantage.
- Experience in non-governmental organizations and working with youth is a strong advantage.
