What tasks await:
- prepare and implement the museum's activity strategy;
- plan and organize the work of the most innovative road museum in Northern and Eastern Europe;
- organize works to implement the reconstruction of the building, update and adapt the exposition for cultural, museum and educational purposes (with the help of colleagues and external suppliers);
- to increase the ranks of fans of roads and road users, using the history and present of roads and the new technologies installed in the museum;
- publicize and fulfill the values of the museum, take care of the formation of new funds and their protection;
- organize museum services, increase awareness and the number of visitors;
- organize permanent and temporary exhibitions;
- take care of the museum's creative activities, generate and implement additional activity ideas, looking for alternative creative solutions;
- cooperate with other museums, educational and cultural institutions, public institutions.
We are looking for a colleague who:
- has obtained a higher university education;
- has at least 3 years of similar work experience (advantage - experience in the development of museum activities);
- is able to generate and implement ideas, knows how to flexibly adapt them to the changing context;
- has excellent eloquence, expression of thoughts both verbally and in writing;
- able to manage several projects in parallel;
- is a proactive, creative and active personality;
- is fluent in Lithuanian, knows English very well, other languages are an advantage;
- have a driver's license (category B).
