Nature of work
- in accordance with the medical norm of the Republic of Lithuania MN 124:2016 "Kineziterapeutas. Rights, duties, competence and responsibility" provides medical rehabilitation services for children in accordance with its competence;
- collects life and disease anamnesis, objectively examines and evaluates the patient, determines a kinesitherapeutic diagnosis;
- based on the established physiotherapy diagnosis, creates a physiotherapy plan and program;
- qualitatively performs individual or group physiotherapy procedures;
- monitors the patient's rehabilitation process, participates in the patient's team discussions;
- fills out the medical documentation according to the procedure approved in the sanatorium;
- when discharging the patient from the sanatorium, evaluates the physical therapy condition, writes the conclusion and recommendations in the medical documents;
- when providing services to patients, follows medical ethics and deontology, protects medical secrecy;
- advises specialists in other medical fields on physiotherapy issues, provides methodological support and leads physiotherapist assistants, etc.
- after assessing the person's physical state of health, creates a massage action plan, taking into account the features of the patient's age;
- performs a massage independently, taking into account the method and localization of the massage.
- understands and knows the basics of general anatomy, physiology, pathology of children's age;
- is able to assess a person's physical state of health, draw up a masseur's action plan, taking into account the characteristics of the person's (patient's) age;
- performs massage independently, taking into account the method and localization of the massage;
- recognizes life-threatening conditions, assesses them and responds appropriately.
Employee requirements
- have a higher non-university or equivalent education in biomedical field of rehabilitation in the field of physiotherapy studies or professional education as a massage therapist;
- have a physiotherapist's press number and license, in accordance with No. 2020-12-04 of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania. Order V-2824 "On the approval of the rules for licensing the practice of personal health care specialists and the description of the requirements for improving the professional qualifications of personal health care specialists";
- have a massage therapist's press number and license, in accordance with No. 2020-12-04 of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania. - honesty, responsibility, patience, diligence;
