Nature of work

As a customer service assistant, you will have to provide the best customer service both in the physical and online store. Simply put, the most important part of your responsibilities is to ensure that all customers are satisfied with our products and your service.

Your responsibilities:

Customer Service: Friendly customer confidence and excellent service at checkouts: working with cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) equipment such as credit and/or debit card terminals - scanning purchases to ensure correct prices and quantities and a convenient and accurate customer shopping experience. As well as quick and efficient performance of customer service tasks and problem solving (return of goods, online orders, reservations of goods in the store, Decathlon loyalty program, etc.).
Merchandise management: Whether working all day or just a few hours a day, each seller is encouraged to independently manage stock and prices and ensure a high level of in-store promotion so that every customer can easily find the right product for their sport.
Team player: You will be part of a team of like-minded shop assistants who play sports together and celebrate victories together, so it is important that you are able to work well both in a team and independently.

Customer service assistants are available during regular business hours as well as evenings and weekends. Work will be in a shop where all safety rules and precautions are followed. The safety of our team members and customers is our top priority.
