Švyturys-Utena beer, the largest brewery in the Baltic countries, the quality department in UTENA invites quality engineers (packaging and production) to join - a person who wants to grow and improve in the field of production and who wants to apply the engineering knowledge they have in practice.
What awaits you?
- Ensure that Carlsberg standards and all legal requirements related to food safety standards (BRCGS, FSSC2200, HACCP) are followed in the production and packaging departments;
- Prepare quality control documentation, reports;
- Carry out internal, hygiene audits in order to improve the level of hygiene, making suggestions for improvement;
- Ensure that the root cause analysis tool is used appropriately to investigate emerging quality issues, and that corrective actions are effective, sustainable, and delivered within agreed timelines;
- Coordinate tests of raw materials and finished products, prepare reports, analyze data;
- Coordination of work between different departments and teams, sharing of good practices and examples;
- Participation in projects;
- Ensure compliance with quality and work safety requirements.
What do we expect?
- Higher education in the field of engineering or food technology is required;
- Work experience in a manufacturing company in a similar position would be an advantage;
- Very good skills in working with MS Office programs;
- Excellent knowledge of Lithuanian and English (oral and written);
- Ability to systematize information, analyze it and look for alternative solutions;
- Teamwork, communication, ability to motivate and desire to grow and improve.
