UAB „Froceth“
We are the first biotechnological company in Lithuania that produces advanced therapy medicinal products (APDs) that are individually tailored to each patient. We create all preparations adapting to the needs of each patient, using the patient's own or donor's tissues and cells for their production. We use the most advanced somatic cell therapy technologies in all processes. Advanced cell therapy in Lithuania is applied to oncology, multiple sclerosis and tissue regeneration.
We started our activity in 2014, combining the knowledge of qualified and long-term experienced doctors, doctors of biomedical sciences, molecular biology specialists, and biotechnologists and establishing a fat tissue bank.
We have established an adipose tissue bank, which has no analogues in Lithuania, for the processing, storage and distribution of cells of the vascular fraction of the adipose tissue stroma. It is the only tissue bank in the country that operates in premises equipped with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. It stores cells that are able to restore the functions of damaged tissues and are suitable for use even more than 20 years after their preparation.
We are constantly investing in research related to the creation and development of new advanced therapy medicinal products. In this way, we aim to develop the field of individual therapy in Lithuania. We officially present the results of all research conducted by our scientists in scientific and popular science publications. We actively participate in scientific projects, cooperate with Lithuanian and foreign biotechnology companies, scientific institutions, and other tissue banks.
