We offer you a challenge
- Develop PRC crisis preparedness and response policy, standards and strategy;
- Lead the Crisis and Emergency Management Program team;
- Ensure interdisciplinary LRC preparedness for crises within the organization;
- Lead PRC operations during national crises;
- Cooperate with foreign Red Crosses, the International Federation of the Red Cross and the Committee on strengthening the preparedness of the PRC in the context of projects and other initiatives;
- Cooperate and strengthen relations with municipal administrations, ministries, departments, the Government, the Lithuanian Army and the Presidency on the topics of preparation and during response;
- Represent the PRC in exercises of national and local significance, in the planning and implementation phases of exercises;
- Educate inter-institutional partners on the topics of international humanitarian law and RK;
- Ensure the development and growth of PES volunteering in 8 Lithuanian cities;
- Manage the projects that finance the program and be responsible for the finances of the program.
We need you, if you will
- you sincerely want to contribute to the implementation of the principles and strategic goals of the Red Cross Movement in Lithuania;
- you have at least 2 years of managerial work experience;
- you have experience working with state institutions and/or in the field of crisis management;
- you have strategic thinking, quick reaction, you are able to work in uncertainty and solve complex situations;
- you know English (level B2);
- good Russian knowledge (advantage).
