As an HR Labour Law Expert, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our company adheres to best practises, labour law and regulations, providing expert support, and facilitating collaboration between external partners and internal departments.

As a Labour Law Expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Serve as the go-to subject matter expert on labour law matters, GDPR questions, providing guidance to HR and management teams to ensure compliance and fair treatment of employees.
  • Handle labour law cases, conducting thorough research and analysis to offer practical solutions that align with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Be one point of entry and collaborate closely with law firms to obtain expert advice and support, ensuring a unified approach to legal matters affecting the company.
  • Coordinate and participate in meetings with legal partners, internal stakeholders and management to discuss case strategies, legal updates, and risk mitigation activities.
  • Draft, review and assess internal policies, regulations and other documents to ensure alignment with law, regulations and best practices.
  • Support the recruitment of employees (including non-EU citizens), working closely with immigration authorities and legal experts to ensure a smooth and compliant hiring process.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate HR, management teams and other stakeholders on labour law updates, ensuring a clear understanding of rights and responsibilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving case law, labour law and regulations, anticipating potential impacts on the organization and recommending proactive measures.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

  • Academic degree in Law.
  • 3 years of experience in labour matters.
  • Strong understanding of local labour law, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships both internally and externally.
  • Experience in coordinating with external legal partners and managing vendor relationships.
  • Familiarity with immigration and work permit processes for non-EU citizens will be considered as an advantage.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to explain complicated matters in an easy way.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent in Lithuanian and English.

Monthly salary range for this position: 3000 - 4600 EUR before tax deduction. The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. The overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
