Job description

Responsibility

The Logistics Specialist has the responsibility for customer service, handling all incoming short sea bookings and trucking arrangements

Job Description

  • Booking implementation and allocation in Odyssey (operation software). Papers collection for the shipment. (DGD,Weight,Seal,VGM,Commodity)
  • Mty Container Equipment check & planning
  • Close communication with customers, shippers (plants, warehouses), consignees, truckers, terminals.
  • Truck arrangements for export/import containers with respect to vessel schedules
  • Container releases, export/import customs arrangements, cross-docking arrangements
  • Customer service: arrival notifications, advising feeder connections, closing times, providing sea waybills, informing on vessel delays, handling all other arising daily routines.

Requirements

  • Logistics (expediter) experience is highly appreciated
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Stress control
  • Ability to plan the tasks and prioritize the importance of each
  • Responsibility, attention to details, quick reaction to arising issues
  • Good English skills – writing, understanding, speaking.

Salary

1400-2000 €/mon. net
