Nature of work
- You will be responsible for the high-quality implementation, development and financing of the care (community, permanent, accompanying) service;
- You will represent the organization of SOS children's villages and cooperate with related institutions and partners;
- You will organize and coordinate the activities of teams providing care services (12 teams, 50+ employees);
- You will act as an ambassador for children's rights, influencing communities, politicians, governments and other stakeholders;
- You will contribute to the constant analysis and search for new ways to develop the service, increase the awareness of the service;
- You will ensure smooth team work, unified implementation of operational principles and organizational standards;
- You will participate in the activities of the National Management Team (NVK);
- You will act as the head of the legal VšĮ "Vilnius SOS Children's Village".
Employee requirements
- Higher education in social sciences (we will consider it a big advantage), management or law;
- Team management experience (at least 30 people);
- Experience in providing services to a child or family (we will consider it an advantage);
- Practical experience of budgeting and management, development of organizational processes, quality management;
- Experience in cooperation with institutions and representing the organization;
- Be familiar with the Lithuanian system of child rights and social services (we will consider it an advantage);
- Be able to reflect and flexibly react to the changing situation;
- Be able to organize your own work and that of the team;
- Be able to systematize and analyze information, prepare documents;
- Lithuanian language. (written and spoken), good English payment (oral and written);
- Good computer skills (MS Office).
