The restaurant "Café Montmartre" is located in front of the Philharmonic, just a few steps from the Town Hall - in the very heart of the old town of Vilnius. It was opened almost 10 years ago by Thomas, a Frenchman who has been living in Lithuania since the mid-1980s.
in 2013 to open the restaurant "Café Montmartre" we were inspired by our love for French culture, music and delicious homemade food. Both Thomas and most French families grew up with warm, delicious onion soup for weekend brunch and a variety of freshly baked muffins, baguettes, croissants and pastries for big family breakfasts. So, we thought: why not bring the authentic taste of France to Vilnius, our new home?
At Café Montmartre, we aim to serve our guests the most traditional, authentic and aromatic French food. Finally, our goal and hope is to transport Vilnius residents and city guests to the lively, bustling streets, small restaurants and bars of Paris with every bite...
