Payroll Analyst

The goal of the Business control group is to ensure timely and quality financial analysis and reporting the CEO and other decision-makers. We are looking for Payroll analyst at Girteka Finance department dedicated for Girteka Transport business unit. Responsibilities of the position focus on driver‘s related data analysis, cost analysis, planning, building budgets, reviewing business and accounting processes, and handling various ad hoc tasks. The key of the position analysis of payroll in different countries, to run regular reports as well as look for cost improvements. As part of your job, you will be regularly communicating with business managers, business process units, financial analysts, the accounting department and many other colleagues at Girteka.


Your Responsibilities

• Take the lead in driver-centric data analysis, including payroll calculations.
• Analyze and contribute to the enhancement of the Company's payroll and benefits systems.
• Deliver comprehensive cost reports and conduct analysis on cost variances.
• Lead projects aimed at identifying and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Actively participate in the budgeting process to ensure financial goals alignment.
• Maintain active communication with accounting and responsible individuals to ensure accurate cost control.
• Engage in various cross-departmental projects to support financial objectives.
• Tackle diverse, challenging ad-hoc tasks as they arise.

Our expectations

• Proven working experience with financial reporting and analytical tasks (at least 3 years). Experience in BIG4 companies is an advantage.
• Understanding of the accounting processes
• Strong academic background, ideally holding a degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or Economics.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Proficient in analytical thinking and possessing a process-oriented mindset.
• Proven data analysis skills with technical capabilities.
• Excellent command of English and good Lithuania knowledge. Russian and Polish language is an advantage.

The specific salary offered will depend on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed and suitability to the requirements of the position.
